Pick a color... but not just any color....

RED. Of late I have made friends with this color. Perhaps because I have grown up a redhead - it took a long time but it is definitely one that you need a little confidence to walk with. Not every red is the same you know. And not every red suits everybody or thier environment - but used cautiously and with a little flair - it can put a smile on your face and warmth in your soul. You know, it's known as the color of attraction they say. That's something to think about. A little or a lot? Toes, lips, shoes, bags, furniture, walls, the sky, carpets, on leaves and in flowers, on homes and on cars. It just seems to be so proud. The colors that come in boxes at the drugstore? Sometimes they don't work out so well and they give red a bit of a bad name I think. Is there just the right amount of red, does it turn out the right shade? It can be the color of love or - the color of anger . They say we are born to be drawn to certain colors. That when you color with your first box of crayons, you are drawn to certain colors way before you choose the others. That's interesting. How do you feel about red? Ever even thought about it? do you remember which color ran out first in the crayon box?

That is so great! I"m right next to Linda Evangelista! Maybe I will be mistaken for a super model! I don't roll out of bed for less than $10,000 a day!! LOL! Those are great mosaics Julie. There is a group called Mosaic Monday, Ruby Tuesday, or today is Rednesday. If you hooked up with one of these groups you would have lots of people visit your blog! You're right on the Red thing! From flashy sports cars, to bulls charging the red cape!
There is something about your boxes underneath that makes it hard for me to link back to your sight. Supposedly right below where it says Choose an identity you can add (maybe with a drop box one that says name/url. Lots of people have added it for the people with Macs or other sights that don't have Google accounts Talk to Claudie she'll handle all the details! Lol! I better try and get some sleep! I'm rambling with insomnia! Nice post today! I think I've got an idea for Rednesday tonight! Love Sherri : )

I love red, and I wear red (or used to a lot). I have pops of red around the house, but it seems that I have an awful lot of blue these days. I think that's one reason I hate to put away the Christmas decor because it has such happy red things! And there is nothing neater than a red convertible!

XO,

Sheila :-)

I never really cared for the color red until a couple years ago. And I really didn't know how many red things I had accumulated until I started joining in on Rednesday! My favorite red in your mosaic is Lucy, because I LOVE LUCY! Also because I've always wished that I had red hair, just like my Mom's. Lucky you to have red hair!
Happy REDnesday!

OMG I was here yesterday and forgot to leave a comment, how weird is that?
I know that when I coloured, I always had to do the "outline" first in black, then I would concentrate on what crayon to use next. My pictures, now I'm digging, were always very bright. So if I had to pick, it certainly would be "flashy" not dull, does that say something about me? Don't answer that.
I always liked you as a red head. You always want what you don't have right?
As you know red on the outside, pink on the inside.
Spray painted like crazy today. All pink of course. I also bought a very cool Xmas tree that doesn't fold. I decorated it with some very cool vintage, sparkly, shinny things.
I hear the sun was shining on you yesterday : )
The sun was nice here also, but cold.
Next stop, your birthday, hurray.
Happy Rednesday
